Noosa

This small seaside town was only known among surfers a few years ago; nowadays however, Noosa is one of the main attractions of Queensland. The crystal-clear sandy coastline and the tropical rainforests are perfect blend well with modern design avenues and Hotels. More wealthy couples and families come here to relax for long weekends from all over the country.

Besides the perfect Noosa Beach, one of the main attractions of Noosa is the National Park which has a number of small bays and untouched beach; those are very popular among experienced surfers. The bathe lovers also visit the protected bays with great number, not to mention some unofficial nudist beach, such as the Alexandria Bay. Noosa is not empty even during "winter", being winter in temperatures of around approximately 20 degrees. The city also serves as home to many festivals at this time. Noosa Jazz Festival is the most prominent one, held in the late August.
